Roberta Perlman OD

Dr. Perlman was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Temple University for her undergraduate education. She received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry and pursued research relating to vision and autism while obtaining her degree. She is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, and is an Assistant professor at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. Dr. Perlman is deeply dedicated to helping her local community and serves with distinction as an elected trustee on the Pomona Unified School Board. In addition, Dr. Perlman volunteers in classrooms throughout the region promoting healthcare professions, and was the proud recipient of the 2009 Pomona Woman of the Year Award, the Cesar Chavez Humanitarian Award, and the Nathaniel and Liz Davis Legacy Award. When she is not busy at work or volunteering in the community, Dr. Perlman enjoys attending theater productions and concerts while spending time with her daughters.
