DR. RONDALD HENSEN O.D. FAAO
Dr. Hensen was born in Iowa and attended Iowa State University for his undergaduate education. He continued his education at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Il. Dr. Hensen enjoys camping and fishing and spending time with his dughters in his free time.
DR. RONALD A. HENSEN O.D. FAAO
Dr. Hensen was born in Iowa and grew up on his family’s farm. He attended Iowa State University for his undergraduate education. He continued his education at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where he earned his doctorate degree. Dr. Hensen went on to teach at Illinois College of Optometry for several years, specializing in binocular vision. Dr. Hensen was awarded a fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry and taught at Southern California School of Optometry (now known as Marshall B. Ketchum University) in Fullerton, CA. After settling in Chino, Dr. Hensen became active in several local community service organizations including acting as the president of the Chino Kiwanas. When Dr. Hensen is not at work he enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with his daughters.
DR. ROBERTA A. PERLMAN O.D.
Dr. Perlman was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Temple University for her undergraduate education. She received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry and pursued research relating to vision and autism while obtaining her degree. She is a proud member of the American Optometric Association, and is an Assistant professor at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. Dr. Perlman is deeply dedicated to helping her local community and serves with distinction as an elected trustee on the Pomona Unified School Board. In addition, Dr. Perlman volunteers in classrooms throughout the region promoting healthcare professions, and was the proud recipient of the 2009 Pomona Woman of the Year Award, the Cesar Chavez Humanitarian Award, and the Nathaniel and Liz Davis Legacy Award. When she is not busy at work or volunteering in the community, Dr. Perlman enjoys attending theater productions and concerts while spending time with her daughters.
DR. ERICA W. PERLMAN-HENSEN O.D., M.P.H., M.A.
Dr. Erica Perlman was born in Southern California and is thrilled to be joining her family's practice and moving back to the Inland Empire.
Dr. Perlman attended Bates College in Maine for her undergraduate degree and Boston University for her dual Masters degrees in Public Health and Medical Science. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry, where she earned accolades for her exceptional clinical skills. Her training included several veteran administration sites, a community health clinic, and the California School of the Blind. She has made multiple excursions to Nicaragua to provide eye care to the underserved, and has provided health services to her local community. On the weekends, Dr. Perlman enjoys backpacking, running, and cooking.
